Extang’s Black Max is the economical tonneau cover that is loaded with features you will not find anywhere else. Black Max is easily installed with frame mounting clamps, stainless fasteners and supplied tool. One-finger removal of tail rail using the Lever Lock system allows quick access for hauling large loads. Spring Lock bows which are simple to remove when you need your bed open or to reinstall. The Black Max features fiberglass reinforced nylon snaps that will not break and the Extang exclusive, 4-way adjustable, all-climate tonneau design. The snaps may be adjusted for a looser or tighter fit. Tuff Klamps provide two bow heights with the high setting for maximum water shedding in harsh weather, and for improved gas mileage, low setting for sporty good looks and cold weather tonneau attachment. The secret to the tonneau’s great looks and fit is a perfectly sewn, tight fitting tarp with special anti-curl corners. Thick binding around the tarp perimeter provides a long and durable tarp life. The tarp easily rolls up to provide full use of the truck bed. Snap Stopper keeps snaps on the rail when tarp is rolled up for bulk hauling. One finger removal
The BlackMax corners feature Extang's impressive new "LeverLock" attachment. Pull back the lever and the tail rail unlocks and quickly disengages for bulk hauling. When the lever latches you know it's locked. "LeverLock" securely stays in place and will not vibrate loose.
Tarps designed for strength & good looks
Corners don't buckle up due to parachute grade nylon corner reinforcements. Snaps & corners are backed with thick polymer forcing the corners and edges to lie smooth and look good in any weather. The thick polymer edging also keeps your snaps from ripping out!
